Do you have green waste that you need to get off your property but are tired of hauling it all the way down to the landfill in Kahului?

We are happy to announce that Mālama Kula in cooperation with the County of of Maui has created a Kula Green Waste Drop Off Event on January 17th at Crater Road (1 mile up) and on January 18th at Waipuna Chapel from 7am to 3pm. Bring your residential green waste only to one of these locations (no garbage, pallets, nails or metal) and Kyle Ellison's Mālama Kula will assist you in disposing of it.

An added bonus is that chippable material will be filtered out and used to create wood chips for erosion control and Kula Fire cleanup.

Kula community, let's show the County we need this service regularly. Think of all the gas money and time you will be saving! If this is a success and the containers fill up, maybe Kyle can set these drop off events up on a regular schedule.
