On Monday morning, the County of Maui conducted a blessing of the (Kula) Von Tempsky Community Center Complex on the land newly acquired from the Von Tempsky family. Members of the family, the County administration, the Board of the Kula Community Association, and Kula residents listened to a moving story of the history of the land told be Kim Von Tempsky and enjoyed speeches by Mayor Bissen and Council Member Yuki Lei Sugimura.
